I am working on machine learning and artificial intelligence approaches for synchrotron-radiation-based microtomography and phase contrast imaging techniques and their application for in situ/vivo experiments at the outstation of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon at the PETRA III storage ring in Hamburg.
My current research interests are: computer vision and pattern recognition, computational imaging, digital volume correlation, optical flow, self-/un-supervised learning, physics informed machine learning, tomographic reconstruction techniques, phase retrieval, and artifacts removal.
