EnMAP
The main goal of the EnMAP (Environmental Mapping Analysis Program) hyperspectral satellite mission is to study a wide range of ecosystems on the Earth's land surface. The hyperspectral instrument registers the solar radiation reflected from the earth from the visible light to the short-wave infrared. These measurements enable the scientists to make precise statements about the condition and changes on the earth's surface. The satellite was launched in April 2022 and the mission is designed to last at least five years.
