Physics Informed AI@Synchrotron a HiACTS Technology Lab (PIAI)
The goal of this lab is to develop robust reconstruction and analysis algorithms for imaging applications at a synchrotron lightsource. Robustness, ease of applicability and reproducability are highly relevant properties if we want to offer imaging as a service for industrial and non-expert users. Using classical algorithms as baseline we can apply ML techniques to speed-up the data analysis pipeline and transfer these new algorithms to other setups, e.g. compact laser driven x-ray sources which are in development by another HiACTS technology lab.
