I work on the intersection of hydrometeorology and machine learning with a focus on remote sensing data to improve quality and spatio-temporal resolution of weather information.
In my research I deal with:
- large remote sensing datasets from weather radar and satellites
- opportunistic sensors, i.e. devices that have not been developed to provide observational data
- generative AI methods
- merging of sensors data and uncertainty estimation
